Los Angeles has it all: great beaches, world-class shopping, superb museums and attractions, but if you want your visit to have a Hollywood ending, your first consideration should be the location of your living quarters. No Los Angeles hotel or motel is near every attraction. So if you want to do some quality sightseeing, you may have to do a lot of driving, which translates into a lot of sitting in traffic, which may result in road rage, or at least an irritable stay in one of America’s greatest cities. Therefore, it’s best to figure out where you would prefer to spend most of your vacation, and book a room accordingly.

Spread over 465 miles, home to 3.5 million people, Los Angeles is the second most populated city in the United States. The city can be quite overwhelming to newcomers, simply because of its vastness and the sheer number of things to see and do. But LA is fantastic in virtually every way. The city is teeming with five-star restaurants and hundreds of parks, beachs, canyons and all of the recreational activities one could imagine. Also, one of the world’s greatest shopping districts is located off Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.

A great way to better plan your next trip to Los Angeles is to get up-to-the-minute information about this great city.  L.A. is too big and rapidly changing to ever 'fully' discover.  Instead, we recommend looking at some of the possibilities, making a decision on what you want to see this time (don't overdo it) and planning to do those things.  Of course, there is always room for a change in plans, and we hope that this site will give you everything you need to help you plan your stay here.  Our goal is to give you the answers you simply never found in books.  Some of the information you'll find here simply can't be printed, such as local traffic and weather, making this an ideal last-minute stop before any trip.
